Summer Thyme

Ingredients

This delishouse cocktail is made with only a few ingredients and can be prepared on the spot for one off drinks, or in bulk ahead of time for large get togethers. Let’s get right into it:

  • 1 oz Chardonnay Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky
  • 1/2 oz St. Germain Elderberry Liqueur
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary, thyme, or lavender
  • A splash of fresh grapefruit juice
  • Seltzer

Instructions

  1. Place your fresh herbs and grapefruit juice into a shaker and lightly muddle to release the aromatic qualities of the herbs.
  2. Add Chardonnay Cask Finished Virginia-Highland Whisky, St. Germain, and Simple syrup with a handful of cubed ice.
  3. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
  5. Top with your favorite seltzer and garnish with a sprig of fresh herbs!
